On November 17, 2009, eight federal regulatory agencies released a final model privacy notice form (the "model form") that can be used to comply with the notice requirements of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (the "GLB Act"). The GLB Act requires a financial institution to provide consumers with notice of the institution's privacy policies and practices with respect to the disclosure of nonpublic personal information.
