On October 27, 2009, in remarks before the Annual Meeting of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), FINRA chief Richard Ketchum addressed the "new regulatory challenges" raised by online social networking sites. Social networking sites include such communication channels as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
