As previously reported, on May 18, 2009, the Florida Department of Financial Services announced a notice of proposed rulemaking to adopt new Rule 69B-162.011. While the Department had hoped to adopt the Rule without any hearing, we have learned that a request for a hearing has been made and the hearing will be held on June 16th at 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room 116 of the Larson Building, 200 East Gaines Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399.
