Ms. McCabe is a Class Action Litigator and Appellate Lawyer with 11 years of national experience representing the firm's clients in the financial services industry. She has a proven track record of positive results defending complex cases in high stakes litigation including punitive damage and bad faith lawsuits in Florida, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, West Virginia, California and other venues. Ms. McCabe has prepared briefs filed in the United States Supreme Court, several U.S. Courts of Appeals and various State Supreme Courts and intermediate appellate courts.
Ms. McCabe has successfully represented the Firm's clients at arbitration before the NASD, and has litigated the enforceability of contractual arbitration clauses under the Federal Arbitration Act. Ms. McCabe has also participated in numerous successful mediations, and has defended creditors' rights in consumer bankruptcy proceedings. Known for legal writing, negotiating, and oral advocacy, Ms. McCabe is licensed to practice in all Florida state and federal courts and in the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fifth, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuits.
