Fax: 305.372.9928 Landon K. Clayman is a Partner in the Miami office of Jorden Burt LLP. He has an extensive background representing commercial banking institutions and insurance companies in a broad range of their customary business activities, as well as in complex, high exposure, and class action litigation. He has represented such clients in state and federal courts throughout Florida and across the United States. He also has significant experience in appellate courts throughout the country, and in arbitration issues and proceedings.
Mr. Clayman has represented banking clients in disputes involving a myriad of operational activities, including letter of credit transactions, problem loan and loan collection matters, and disputes with customers as well as other financial institutions concerning debit and credit processing issues. He also has represented banking clients in matters involving officer and employee malfeasance, major lender liability claims, disputes with regulatory authorities, and struggles over corporate control.
Mr. Clayman has represented insurance company clients in coverage disputes involving life, health, and CGL insurance policies, and rescission actions involving life and D&O coverages. He also has represented insurance company clients in the defense of individual and class action matters involving claims of consumer fraud and unfair trade practices, and violations.
